How Our Certified Inventory Destruction Process Works

Our certified inventory destruction process is designed to be operationally straightforward for our clients while meeting the highest standards for security, compliance, and documentation. Here is exactly what to expect when you work with inventorydestruction.com.

Step 1: Contact Us and Get a Quote

Reach out through our Contact page. Tell us the products to be destroyed, quantity, location, and any regulatory requirements. We respond with a customized quote within one business day. For urgent recall situations, indicate the time-sensitivity and we will prioritize your request.

Step 2: Inventory Assessment and Scheduling

Once you approve the project, we coordinate a pickup schedule and prepare all chain-of-custody documentation. For large-scale projects including full warehouse clearances or multi-location pickups, we can conduct an on-site inventory assessment before collection.

Step 3: Secure Collection and Chain-of-Custody Transport

Your inventory is collected under strict chain-of-custody protocols. All items are logged by SKU, quantity, and description at the point of collection. A chain-of-custody manifest is created and signed at handoff. Secure transport is arranged to our certified destruction facility. Nothing leaves our control without full documentation.

Step 4: Certified Destruction

Products are destroyed using the method appropriate to the product category including industrial shredding, incineration, chemical processing, depackaging, or composting as applicable. Witnessed destruction is available. The method is selected to satisfy all regulatory requirements for the specific product type.

Step 5: Certificate of Destruction Issued

Upon completion, we issue a formal Certificate of Destruction documenting every item destroyed, the destruction method, the date and location, and an authorized signature. This is your official compliance record for regulatory reporting, brand protection, insurance claims, and internal audit purposes.
